About Us

Tiffany Vlard

Owner/Founder of Bmore Urbana

My journey with salsa and bachata began over three years ago, right here in Baltimore. From the moment I stepped onto the dance floor, I was captivated by the rhythm, the movement, and the sense of community that Latin dance brings. I immersed myself fully, attending workshops, classes, festivals, and socials, all in the pursuit of becoming a better dancer. Along the way, I made lifelong friends, connected with incredible people, and found a sense of belonging within the dance community. However, as I continued to grow, I noticed that Baltimore was lacking in some of the key resources that dancers like myself needed to
continue improving and thriving.

Recognizing this gap, I launched Bmore Urbana in December 2023 with the mission of cultivating and expanding Baltimore’s Latin dance scene. Our goal is to provide structured salsa and bachata classes, workshops, and social events for dancers of all levels. We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone—from beginners to advanced dancers—can grow, connect, and enjoy the vibrant culture of Latin dance.

At Bmore Urbana, we believe that dance has the power to bring people together, and we are dedicated to building a strong, supportive community here in Baltimore. Whetheryou’re just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.
